This week, the Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation was pleased to greet Ontario Power Generation (OPG) Senior Communications Advisor, Lynda Cain, as she presented a generous $20,000 donation to their ongoing Mammography Campaign.

This year, OPG‘s Corporate Citizenship Program supported 67 individual projects across Bruce County. This program looks to support charitable and non-profit initiatives that align with the company’s commitment to be an engaged and productive member of the community. Their positive contributions to the Walkerton Hospital has helped to place the Foundation’s campaign closer to its $485,000 goal. “A new state of the art diagnostic mammogram will be a welcome change for the thousands of women in our area,’ says Ms. Cain.
