X-RAY SUITE+ REPLACEMENT CAMPAIGN
YOUR HEALTH | YOUR HOSPITAL | THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped us reach this goal,” said X-Ray+ Campaign Co-Chairs Randy Weber and Ryan Fullerton. “Our community has shown us, once again, what can happen when we come together for something that matters to us all, exceptional healthcare close to home. We simply cannot thank everyone enough for their incredible generosity and support.”
With the campaign complete, the new X-ray and ultrasound equipment will arrive fully funded, thanks to our community.
The next phase of the project begins the week of October 13, when removal of the existing equipment and renovations will begin. Delivery of the new equipment is anticipated for October 26, with the full return of X-ray and fluoroscopy services expected November 19.
This campaign will bring a new X-ray suite and ultrasound unit to Walkerton Hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Department, an investment that will benefit patients and families in our community for years to come.
To everyone who donated, volunteered, fundraised, shared our campaign, purchased a bone or supported us in any way, thank you! Together, our community is helping bring new technology, improved diagnostic imaging services and a brighter future at the Walkerton Hospital.
X-Ray Suite+ Replacement Campaign
Reaches $1.281 Million Goal
$1.281 MILLION. 206 BONES. 6 MONTHS EARLY. WE DID IT!
The Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation is thrilled to announce that the X-Ray Suite+ Replacement Campaign has officially reached its $1.281 million fundraising goal – six months ahead of schedule!
The campaign was originally set to run until March 31, 2027, but thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the goal has been reached well ahead of schedule.
And while 206 Buy-a-Bone contributors helped make this milestone possible, the story of this campaign is so much bigger than 206 bones.
It is the story of countless donors – big and small – businesses, families, organizations, volunteers, fundraisers and community members who gave, shared, encouraged and supported this project in so many different ways.
Every donation mattered. Every act of support mattered. And together, it added up to an incredible $1.281 million.
DONOR RECOGNITION
In the coming weeks, a permanent campaign donor wall will be installed in the emergency department outside of registration. This piece will recognize all donors $1,000+ at corresponding levels. Stay tuned for further details on this recognition piece!
