The Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation was incorporated in 1994 as a not-for-profit charitable organization. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors that represent the people of Walkerton and surrounding communities. The Foundation is dedicated to raising funds to assist the Hospital in strengthening patient care, further education, and obtain the most recent and state-of-the-art medical equipment. Our success is secured directly to the compassionate and generous support of our donors.

While best known for high-profile fundraising events like our Golf Tournament, Hospital Gala and Radiothon, the WDHF generates funds through a variety of initiatives, including annual appeals, planned giving, and tribute gifts.

For over 100 years, the Walkerton Hospital has provided the best health care to the residents of Walkerton, Mildmay, Formosa, Cargill, Chepstow, Paisley, and area. From life-saving emergency treatment to life-changing surgery and from new life to end of life care our hospital is here when our communities need it.
